Fundraising Activities

Official Fundraising Has Commenced!

With your gift of $25 or more you will receive:

After talking to my attorney last week, he gave me the o.k. to start raising funds for the

with the following stipulation: I have to inform you that the AMACF is as of yet, NOT considered to be a non-profit entity, which means, any contributions on your part will NOT qualify as a deductible charitable contribution but rather a goodwill gift. With that said, let me explain the

2006 Fundraising Goal:

$850 to establish AMACF LLC.
$2,000 to apply for IRS tax exempt status pursuant to 501(c)(3) and establish AMACF as a non-profit entity.
$2,850 Total

Fundraising Deadline:

100 days don't delay, send that check today!

How will we do it? (Several ways)

1. You may send a check or money order, even the smallest gift is humbly accepted, made payable to AMACF, PO BOX 221, Spring Lake, Michigan, 49456. Any gift of $25 or more will receive as a Thank You (please include return address) the latest Christopher B. Bedford film:

2. If you live in the Greater Grand Rapids area, please attend any of the following seminars. They are FREE, but again, donations are accepted and humbly appreciated!

First Event
When: July 29, 2006 from 9:00am to 1:00pm
Where: Spring Lake Public Library, Spring Lake, Michigan.
Cost: Free Admission (donations will be humbly accepted to cover expenses)

Second Event
When: September 9, 2006 from 8:30am to 1:00pm
Where: MSU, Room A101, East Lansing, Michigan (Plant and Soil Science Building)
Cost: Free Admission (donations will be humbly accepted to cover expenses)

Please make plans to attend either showing of the film "The Future of Food" about genetically modified foods followed by a panel discussion on European and African perspectives, the relationship to healthy eating, and what you can do to ensure a healthy, safe food supply for our children and grand children.

What's In It For You?

With your donation you will ensure that:

1. The Alternative Medicine Blog stays online and will continue to grow and expand, delivering FREE, accurate, to the point health information about Complimentary and Alternative Medicine based on sound scientific research!
